2015 Burritos and Bubbly Year in Review

Hi guys! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas! We had such a great long weekend, doing lots of relaxing and also working on lots of projects around the house. No baby yet!

2015 will forever go down as the year when EVERYTHING happened. It’s also the year that will be forever remembered as THE MOST STRESSFUL EVER. We found out we’re having a baby right around the time we hosted 200+ people as part of the Ohio City Home Tour. Then we bought a new house and went back and forth between two houses every day for three months until we sold our old house just a few weeks ago.

So yeah, 2015 was a big, crazy, wild, stressful, really fun and super exciting year. Throughout all the stress, though, everything that we did always just felt right… the big life changes all happened at exactly the right time, and we’re happy. Like, really happy. 2015 was a good year.

And while all of that was happening, we tackled tons of fun DIY projects and continued to make updates to both of our houses… Here are a few of our favorite projects from 2015!

2016 is going to be another epic year, as we figure out how to be parents for the first time and try to tackle a ton of new projects planned for the new house, including a huge kitchen renovation … with a baby … EEEEEKKK!!! Obviously we’re crazy, ha.

With baby coming any day minute, we’re officially on maternity leave for the next few weeks, but we have a bunch of blog posts already scheduled, including a lot of updates on the new house that we’ve been saving up for you, so keep checking back!! We also plan on popping in with some updates whenever we get a chance.

Most of all, we want to wish all of you a wonderful and safe New Year’s Eve.  We’re SO grateful for every one of you who reads our blog, leaves comments, says hi, follows us on social media or just pops in every once in a while to see what we’re up to. We have so much fun writing this blog and coming up with new project ideas, so you guys are the best. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Have some bubbly for me PLEASE!
