Rumpus Room hopscotch

I was looking through my older posts, and it looks like somehow I’ve managed to not share many pictures of our Rumpus Room, which is weird since it’s where we spend 90% of our time. If we’re not cooking or sleeping, we’re pretty much guaranteed to be found on the couch in the Rumpus.

I love this room. I love the teal walls and the huge school map on the wall. I love all the pillows. It’s a super warm, cozy space and is by far my favorite room in the house.  Possibly the world.

Recently we did a rug switcheroo. It’s a simple change that made a huge difference. We had an antique rug in here that was just never quite right. I had used it just because I had it, but it was way too big for the room and was constantly bunching up to trip us. I’ve wanted the CB2 hopscotch rug for a long time, so when I saw it back on their website recently I had to jump (umm, no pun intended). It’s so perfect and so much fun.
