Boutique Bridal Bazaar: a unique Cleveland bridal fair
I asked the winner of our Boutique Bridal Bazaar tickets to write a guest post all about the show last weekend. Jen is getting married in October, so I thought it would be fun to hear from a real bride-to-be. Thanks so much for the guest post, Jen! I can’t wait to see what crafty ideas you have for your wedding! And thanks also to the girls at Something White Bridal for putting on an amazing show and for hosting the ticket giveaway on my blog!
I have not-so-patiently been waiting for my mom to return home from her vacation so we can start attending bridal shows for my upcoming wedding. So when I won tickets to Something White’s Boutique Bridal Bazaar, I knew it would be the perfect mother-daughter outing, since crafty is my mom’s middle name. I was hoping to get out-of-the box ideas and inspiration. And business cards. Lots of them, since I’m a little behind in wedding planning.
I wasn’t disappointed! An entire row devoted to Etsy boutiques?? It was like meeting the magical elves behind all of my favorite crafts. Every booth was decked out with beautiful displays of their work, samples from cake shops and caterers and all the business cards and brochures my purse could hold.
Bridal shows can be overwhelming, but this was just the right amount of vendors, and there was no pressure or sales pitches from anyone. We left feeling inspired with a million ideas, a handful of brochures and list of things to check out later.
