I’ve spent the last few days agonizing over wanting to get a new laptop case. It’s so silly. I have a bag that’s totally fine, especially considering my laptop almost never leaves the couch. I just don’t really have anywhere to take it, and if I go out of town, I take my iPad since it’s so much easier.

In a few weeks, though, my laptop and I are going on an adventure to Toronto to take Blogshop.  It’s a weekend-long Photoshop for bloggers class taught by graphic designer Bri Emery of designlovefest and photographer Angela Kohler of Angela + Ithyle. Eeek! I am so excited.

But I can’t show up with my boring old clunky laptop bag!! These girls are stylish! It’s time for something new and cute, but I also really don’t want to spend very much since it won’t get used often. I want a case rather than a bag, so I can just throw my laptop in my purse along with a notebook and pens and some lipgloss, and not feel so much like I’m lugging around a purse AND a laptop bag. I looked at approximately five gazillion cases and bags, and these are a few of my favorites, all under $60…

And this striped one from Poketo is what I ordered… I like that it’s simple, cute, the right size for my laptop, and inexpensive enough that I can justify buying a new purse too. Now I just need to figure out what to WEAR!!
