FIVE YEARS!

Five years ago today, Andy and I got married and it was the best day ever. We had so much fun; were so full of love for each other and all our friends and family who gathered with us; and everything went exactly as we had planned, imagined and stressed about for months before. It was a perfect day. Nothing makes me happier than having Andy by my side, along with our little girl Joanna and soon our little boy, and of course our pup Ruby and kitty Mocha. It’s been a good five years!

(Full disclosure: I actually write the Boutique Bridal Book as my day job, but I swear posting photos of our wedding was my boss’s idea, not mine! I’m super flattered that she wanted to feature us!!)

So instead of wedding photos, we thought it would be fun to share some pics from a photoshoot we did a few months before our wedding. We had our friend Shannon Sullivan, one of Andy’s former bandmates who is an awesome graphic designer and photographer with Clubhouse Creative, take some photos of us to use in our wedding save-the-dates and invites. He also created all of our wedding stationery and signage. Since Andy is a drummer, we wanted to incorporate a musical theme throughout the wedding, and of course I’ve always loved a vintage 1960s aesthetic. So we came up with the idea of creating wedding invitations inspired by vintage band posters.

Four years of high school cheerleading came in handy with this jump!
