In the kitchen with Kerry + Andy… eating cheeseburgers
Something big happened this weekend.
I ate a cheeseburger.
A real one. With meat.
On Saturday night we stayed home and cooked up the most delicious meal: grilled corn on the cob (first time grilling it and I might never cook it another way again), salad with veggies from our farm share, and, of course, a cheeseburger, with a thick slice of gouda on a pretzel bun. Aaaand a real nice bottle of birthday champagne (yum!).
I have to say, that cheeseburger was good! (Or should I say gouda?!) It’s been at least three years since I’ve had a cheeseburger, and it was pretty darn tasty.
{I can’t believe I just posted a picture of myself wearing my gym clothes and no makeup. Well, this is real life kids.}
To finish off a great night, we made ice cream sandwiches with some of Andy’s homemade vanilla ice cream and cookies from his mom, along with a couple glasses of wedding gift rum. Because why not?
