Essential summer style

We escaped for a few days to the lake. Well, the OTHER lake, considering we live just a few blocks from Lake Erie. We’re in Traverse City, Michigan, celebrating the beginning of summer in the place that means quintessential summer to me. There’s no more perfect place to be this time of year.

For the best road trip, my summer essentials are strappy tops, flowy dresses, and loose shorts. These are easy pieces to throw on with a pair of sandals to go from the beach to the winery and back again… since we’ll definitely be making a stop at L. Mawby winery for some bubbly!
