Room of the week: colorful vintage farmhouse kitchen

This colorful vintage farmhouse kitchen is one of my all-time favorites. Keeping the walls, countertops and cabinets all white allows for layering in lots of color in poppy reds, turquoise blues, mint greens, and lemon yellows. The beadboard on the island and the open shelving give this kitchen a casual, homey vibe. This is such a fresh, cheerful, comfortable room, and a place I’d love to spend lots of time cooking and hanging out.
