Columbus Country Living Fair
Yesterday I drove down to Columbus for the Country Living Fair, which is an enormous annual festival of crafts and antiques, and I had the BEST time. I came home with a few more things than I was planning on… but that’s what it’s all about right? Plus, I’m kind of embarrassed to even admit how sore I am from walking around all day and lugging around my loot.
Speaking of loot, I bought this wall art, which I’m thinking may go in our bedroom, that says “you are my sunshine,” by Georgia-based artist Go Jump in the Lake (love the name!); a piece of vintage round luggage, which I’ve been wanting for years, and is the best (and cheapest at only $12!) one I’ve found; a State of Ohio tea towel by On Paper of Columbus; and an antique glove form that pretty much looks like a creepy old hand, which I love and Andy isn’t so fond of — yet.
More than the things I bought, I came home absolutely bursting with inspiration and about a million project ideas swimming in my head. I am so excited to make so many fun things soon. Watch out!
