What blogs do you read?

I get asked a lot about what blogs I read, and I usually answer, “a lot of them!” I thought it might be fun to share with you some of my absolute faves. Since I do read so many on a regular basis, I’ll just focus on the ones that I read the most often, that I get excited about every time there’s a new post, and where I find the most inspiration.

Google reader really changed my life when it comes to blogs. Before that, I followed a handful, but it was always a pain to go to a bunch of different sites all the time and I’d find myself getting way behind and frustrated, or when there weren’t new posts, even a little bored. With google reader, everything I want to read is in one place, and I can easily look at it whenever I have spare time, even on my phone.  At the moment I’m following 73 blogs, and I actually read almost all of them every week. Maybe that’s a bit excessive, but I just like them all so much, and I add new ones all the time.

Over the next few days I’m going to share with you some of my favorites.  I won’t talk about all 73, don’t worry!! When I started thinking about this, I realized they almost all fall into a handful of categories, so it makes sense to break them down that way — fashion, interior design, weddings, graphic design and photographers.  I’d love to hear what some of your favorites are, too!!

You may have also noticed that I redesigned my own blog again.  I was really feeling the yellow and grey and had to give it a shot.  This blog is always a work in process.  Let me know what you think!!
