Baby’s Room: A 12-Week Challenge

Some fabulous bloggers recently participated in the One Room Challenge where they had six weeks to completely transform a room in their home from top to bottom. The finished rooms were revealed last week and they’re amazing. I love the sophisticated nursery that Chris and Julia designed for their baby girl who is due a week before our boy. Bre’s boho bathroom is CRAZY good, and you have to see what Dabito cooked up for his dining room — I’m obsessed with his colorful, midcentury style.

Since today is the official first day of my third trimester (already?!), that means our baby boy is due in exactly 12 weeks! So, just for fun, we’ve decided to task ourselves with a 12-week one-room challenge of our own to finish his nursery. We plan on starting this weekend with some painting and all the prep work that goes before that, and I’ve been working really hard for weeks on making some final decisions on all the decor/furniture pieces. Over the next 12 weeks (or less??) we’ll be giving you weekly updates on our progress before showing you the final reveal in August.
