Shopping Schoolhouse Electric
When we were in New York, we had a chance to visit the showroom of Schoolhouse Electric, which was so fun. Schoolhouse Electric specializes in lighting and homegoods inspired by vintage designs from 1900 through the 1940s. I’ve had my eyes on some of their lights ever since we moved into our house, so I was really excited to visit the showroom and see them for myself. It’s always so much nicer to see things in person than on a computer screen. You can see the finishes, colors and quality first hand.
These are a few of my favorite things. I would love to have this glass ball pendant in our future bathroom and we’re seriously considering getting a couple of sconces like these to put next to our bed (when we finally build a headboard!). This flush mount is a great alternative to the ugly old boob light. And since Schoolhouse Electric has a lot more than just lights, I seriously love this pennant pillow and bright yellow clock. These would look so perfect in our school-themed rumpus room. Do you have a favorite?
